The 1st Golf Tournament and Picnic hosted by the Korean American Grocers Association of Arkansas (President, Lee Chang-heon) on September 8th was attended by about 90 participants. About 50 vendors, members of the association, and Koreans in the golf tournament enjoyed the opportunity to socialize and strengthened ties among the Korean community members in Aransas. This golf tournament and picnic was an event to express gratitude to the supporters of One Korean, so the Association covered the venue fee and all expenses. In addtion, the Association provided a grant to enourange high school student Lee Hyun-seo, the number one junior golf player in the Arkansas region. Many souvenirs and prizes could be awarded at the event thanks to valuable support from various vendors.
